Toys for Tots Shopping 2007

On Saturday, Nov 3, Jim & Linda Riggs in Jim's 57; Frank Baker in his '57; Joe, Nancy and Julie Mecler in their '55; Marsha Z in her '57 and Barb Z and her friend Edna in Barb's Chevelle and John and Janet Stein in their '57 cruised up to Hagerstown to the Meadows. Once there, we met up with Carroll Anderson and John Chance. Carroll had just gotten back from his big trip out west. We enjoyed a very nice time and good frozen custard at the Meadows, and some great shopping in the nearby shopping center.

After that, Butch & Sissy and Gary & Teresa and Ed Z met up with the Riggs, the Steins, the Meclers and Marsha to do some shopping at Toys R Us. We went a little over our budget and we had a great time buying Toys for Tots. After some shopping, we had a nice dinner at Ruby Tuesday and then presented our toys to the guys from Golden Gears. They really appreciated our donation and we know the kids will, too!
