Rick & Sue did a fantastic job organizing an amazing fall cruise! Wellsboro, PA really rocks - there is so much to do and see that we could go again and again! And the Sherwood Motel in Wellsboro was extremely clean and a great place to stay. Our first stop of the day (after a few roundabout turns!) was the Red Rabbit Drive-In in Duncannon, PA just outside of Harrisburg. It was great with terrific food.

After arriving in Wellsboro on Saturday afternoon, we had a bite to eat (lots of great restaurants in Wellsboro!) and went to the Arcadia Theater - a lovely restored movie theater and some of us saw Argo, some saw Here Comes the Boom and some saw Perfect Pitch.

Sunday morning, after a short delay for mechanical work, we went to the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania - a truly impressive and awesome place. Then on to Fezz’s Diner for a yummy lunch and then the Lumberman’s Museum. Followed by dinner at the Mary Wells Restaurant in the Penn Wells - a beautiful restored building with great food and atmosphere. Monday morning we departed at our leisure with some heading for home at about 8:00 am, others heading for the Wellsboro Diner at the same time and then a leisurely stroll through Wellsboro and then heading for home.

Of course, we had our share of wrong turns and turn-arounds - just view them as a way to see more scenery!

On this great cruise were Rick & Sue in their ’57; Rick & Sue’s friends – Don & Connie and Paul & Jean in their ’54 Mercury convertible; Jim & Linda in Old Blue; Krysta and Wesley in Krysta’s ’71 Chevelle; John & Janet in their ’57; Ed & Marsha in their ’55 Nomad; Frank & Alice in their ’48 Pickup; Pat & Peggy in new steel. Many thanks to Rick & Sue for a terrific trip.
