HMCCC Visits
Tranquility Assisted Living
Frederick, MD
June 18, 2011

Ed & Marsha, Butch & Sissy (in their '55 Pickup), Jim & Linda, John & Janet, Barb Z, Earl, and JR & Joanne went to Tranquility Assisted Living for a very nice evening.

We thought we were just going to have our cars on display for the residents to look at. Much to our surprise, it was actually their Father's Day picnic complete

with live entertainment and burgers and dogs on the grill! Very nice! Immediately, the staff selected John & Janet's '57 Chevy as their favorite and gave Janet a very

nice basket of Armour All clean up supplies. Then, Tranquility Assisted Living gave Heart of Maryland Classic Chevy Club a check in the amount of $150 as thanks for bringing out our cars!

Totally unexpected, and we plan to pay that forward to the Alzheimers Association. It was a very nice evening, and they really liked our cars (and truck!).
