Well, we are half way thru the year. The shows are passing - Barefoot Bernies was a success — thanks to Earl for all the hard work and all the other members who came out to help. Then there was the Mason Dixon Show which was a great trip. This past weekend Butch & Sissy's Church had their show. Sorry I got there late, but they had a good turnout.
Alice's brothers and sister-in-laws were in town, so we were pretty busy.
On the way home from the show, I stepped on my brakes coming across the back roads, and they went straight to the floor which made for an interesting trip. I pumped the brakes up several times and by the time I got home they were working fine again.
I pulled the truck in the garage and haven't been able to check them out because of the rain. We've just had our driveway paved and now the rain comes INTO the garage. I've been getting 3-5 vacuums worth at a time each time it rains.
PS - keep a Street Rod friend in your prayers. Leonard Merritt has cancer of the throat. Leonard is a big part of the Western Md Street Rod Association.
Please remember Celebrate Damascus on July 11 - we could use your help!
Thanks for your support!
