Congratulations to Miss Evy Combs who recently wowed the audience in her first dance recital.  Evy, who turns 3 on April 24, loved being up on stage and turned in a great performance!
Hope you checked out the April issue of Classic Chevy magazine!  It features a centerfold and a great article on Ed Z’s ’55 gasser!  It was a great issue with several race cars and the highlight was Ed’s ’55!  If you didn’t receive a copy of the magazine, you can see the club copy at the April 8 meeting!  As a result of the article, Ed has been able to do some research on the history of his ’55.  Congrats, Ed!  Quite an honor for a very cool car!

The May issue of the CCI magazine featured an article about our Eagle One win and a photo of HMCCC members!

Get well wishes go out to former member Don Ward who was recently taken to Carroll County General Hospital and they discovered that he has colon cancer and lesions on his liver.  On Thursday, April 3, they operated and removed a large part of his colon and a large mass all around his colon.  They did not do anything about the lesions on his liver.  Don is home now. If you’d like to send him a card:  DON & TRISH WARD, 6525 MELLOR ROAD, ELDERSBURG, MD  21784.

Get well wishes go out to Peggy Kaplan who has been under the weather, but is now doing much better.  The good news is that Peggy quit smoking on  409 (a good Chevy number!).  You go girl!   If you would like to send a card:  PEGGY KAPLAN, 12506 HOLDRIDGE ROAD, SILVER SPRING, MD  20906.

Get well wishes go out to Beth Smith who recently underwent thyroid surgery. And a huge GREAT NEWS – the nodule they discovered was benign!   If you would like to send Beth a card:  BETH SMITH, 28550 RIDGE ROAD, MOUNT AIRY, MD 21771.

Get well wishes go out to Earl Chesley who will be undergoing back surgery (a cervical laminectomy) on April 21 at Suburban. He should be in Suburban for 3 days, then hopefully home or to rehab.  If you would like to send Earl a card:  EARL CHESLEY, 7407 RIDGE ROAD, FREDERICK, MD 21702.

Welcome home to Marsha Z who recently enjoyed a trip to Arizona (her first flight on a big plane!) with her daughter Angie.

Bon Voyage to Barbara Zimmerman who is motoring down to Savannah, GA for a nice trip!

Get well wishes go out to Jack Flood who has recently been in Suburban Hospital with kidney stones. If you would like to send Jack a card: JACK FLOOD, 2700 SHANANDALE DRIVE, SILVER SPRING, MD  20904-1632
